The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) shared that four people were rescued from the third floor of the factory.
Atul Garg, Head of DFS said that a call was received at 6.50 pm regarding a fire at factory No. 58 in Raghubar Pura-2 of Gandhi Nagar and four people were rescued.
It is being said that in a video shared by the DFS, a woman named Gudiya said, “There were two children in my factory. When the fire broke out, the fire brigade came and extinguished the fire, and took us out safely.”
It may be mentioned here that Gandhi Nagar and its nearby areas like Raghubar Pura, Tank Road, Seelampur etc., have thousands of small garment manufacturing units working in unorganised way catering to the Indian domestic market.
