The entire launch was hosted by television host and renowned actor Manish Paul.

The mask, certified to IS 9473:2002, ensures durability of 12 hours (cumulative) with single use for different industrial workers and can also be used for daily activities, and is available for purchase across India on KARAM’s website and across retail outlets as well as medical stores.
Talking about the new product range, Hemant Sapra, President – Global Marketing, KARAM Industries, said “Given the unprecedented times that we are living in, our foremost line of defence is taking self-precautionary measures, one of which includes wearing masks while stepping out or interacting with others. At KARAM, we are continuously working with GoI and authorities to enable our frontline and industrial workers to stay safe as they work towards ensuring the safety of the larger communities. The launch of the new range is our way of expressing gratitude to them and curbing the shortage of protective gear faced by the frontline staff.”
Appreciating the efforts of KARAM, Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog, said “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate KARAM and their teams across locations that have been working tirelessly in achieving this goal. KARAM is a classic example of Government’s Make in India with its production excellence and expertise.”
KARAM has been taking initiatives to provide support to the frontline workers through safety products amidst the current crisis. The company was, in April 2020, given a sanction by the Government of India to manufacture protective goggles for doctors and the police workforce across the country. KARAM has manufactured around 18 lakh goggles till date.
