Apparel Group has expanded its presence in South India by opening a new Victoria’s Secret store in LuLu Mall, Kochi. This marks Victoria’s Secret’s 10th store in India and highlights the company’s strategy to meet the growing demand for its globally renowned brands. The new store reflects Victoria’s Secret’s commitment to offering an enhanced shopping experience.
The Kochi store introduces the brand’s ‘Store of the Future’ concept, combining advanced technology with a unique retail experience. It exclusively showcases Victoria’s Secret’s beauty collection, featuring fragrances and luxurious body care products.
Tushar Ved, President of Apparel Group India, emphasised the importance of bringing global brands closer to Indian customers. “We are expanding not just our footprint but also integrating international brands into the Indian market,” he said. Abhishek Bajpai, CEO of Apparel Group India, also noted that Kochi’s dynamic market makes it an ideal location for this expansion.
The opening of the store in Kochi demonstrates Victoria’s Secret’s growing presence in India, following the success of its nine other stores across the country. Apparel Group’s strategy focuses on connecting with key regions, providing luxury retail experiences, and catering to local consumer preferences.
