India-based textile conglomerate Arvind Limited has recently opened its second store of custom clothing brand Creyate in Bengaluru in order to its increase revenue.
“The latest store in Bengaluru has newer fabrics for spring/summer and Linea D’oro (Line of gold in Italian) — a line of ultra-luxurious fabrics that are 100 per cent for its customers,” reportedly stated Tejinder Singh, Chief Operating Officer of Arvind Internet, the online arm of Arvind Limited.
Creyate, launched in 2015, now operates a total of 13 stores in Amritsar, Pune, Mumbai, Cochin, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Noida and Ahmedabad. Mumbai has a total of three and Bengaluru has two stores of the brand.
Arvind Limited is also expecting a twofold increase in the presence of Creyate in next 12-18 months. The addition of more luxury Creyate outlets is also on the cards.
The luxury stores of Creyate stocks suits priced over Rs. 60,000 and the brand is now planning to launch a suit range at more than Rs. 2 lakh price tag. The regular Creyate stores have products available at around Rs. 24,000.
Three more luxury malls in the country are likely to have a Creyate store soon, however, any clear picture on the opening has not been revealed.
Despite reporting a more than 20 per cent growth on a like-to-like basis, the retailer is not in a hurry to expand the presence of Creyate stores as it records 25 per cent of its current orders from home visits, while the rest 10-15 per cent via online orders on its app from repeat customers.
The brand is also doing a good business in Japan where it is operating around 50 shop-in-shop retail outlets and the majority of them are selling custom-made denim wear.
