Chique, a prominent women’s apparel brand, is gearing up for an extensive expansion into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities across India. The company has declared that its intention is to open more than 150 stores within the next three years.
Chique, presently available in 26 cities, including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Gurugram, Bangalore, and Mumbai, is now poised for growth in smaller cities.
Recognising the surging demand for their products in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, Chique plans to extend its reach by collaborating with more than 10 multi-brand outlets (MBOs) in various cities by the end of the fiscal year. This strategic initiative is expected to propel the brand’s growth by a substantial 50 per cent year-on-year.
Siddhanth Gupta, the founder of Chique, expressed their ambitious goal, “We aim to establish a presence in every corner of India, and our partnership with these MBOs brings us closer to that goal. Customers in Tier-2 and 3 cities are displaying a growing fashion consciousness and an affinity for our products. Our commitment is to craft each piece in alignment with the evolving needs of women. Our approach blends traditional and Western sensibilities seamlessly.”
Chique also made its international debut last year with an 800-square-foot store in Dubai. The company’s future plans include opening over 150 stores in the next three years, with an initial focus on the UAE market.
