Sustainable childrenswear brand Greendigo Organic Clothing has witnessed an undisclosed investment by actress Dia Mirza.
Notably, she will also be the face of the brand in the country.
The Mumbai-based brand is encashing the popularity of the actress to help widen its customer base and increase its market share.
Meghna Kishore and Barkha Bhatnagar Das launched the brand in 2019 and it retails from its dedicated e-commerce store.
In a statement, Barkha Bhatnagar Das, Co-founder of Greendigo, said “We’re thrilled to have Dia on board in a multi-pronged capacity. We have a clear and focused vision, which is to make organic kids clothing a norm rather than an exception. With someone as relatable and honest as Dia, we have no doubt that our message will hit home.”
On this development, Dia Mirza said, “What I love most about Greendigo is the fact that it speaks to the parent and planetarian in me.
