In an interesting development, Levi’s® will commemorate the 501® jeans as a worldwide phenomenon with limited-edition International 501® rigid Shrink-to-Fit™ selvedge jeans across both genders, that feature all components of the jeans, including the iconic red tab, rivets, leather patch, and pocket flashers translated into six different languages: Hindi, Japanese, Spanish, French, Korean or Simplified Chinese.
These unique sundry details celebrate the global appeal of the world’s most iconic jeans in a personalised way for countries and cultures across the world.
This is probably the first time that an international brand has come up with such an initiative of different languages.
Overall LEVI’S® Commemorates the 501® jeans with a range of new finishes and fits.
In a statement, the company said that “What began as a patent for copper rivets on work pants in 1873 has, over the last 150 years, become the most iconic and influential piece of clothing ever created.”
To celebrate the milestone anniversary and the enduring power of authentic self-expression, Levi’s® is introducing a new range of finishes and fits, including a limited-edition International 501® Jean, banner prints, optimistic colors and a special Levi’s x Deepika Padukone 501® Jean exclusive to India.
