Fashion e-commerce firm Myntra announced that it has partnered with outdoor gear and clothing brand Wildcraft to offer high-quality personal protective face masks on its platform.
The online firm has collaborated with Wildcraft to address the shortage of protective masks across the country during the lockdown.
Myntra has a strong delivery network and this wide reach will enable it to deliver masks to millions of consumers nationwide.
“We are thankful to the Government for their support and are proud to serve the nation in the fight against Coronavirus by providing our customers access to essential protective items right at their doorsteps and enabling them to stay safe indoors,” said Amar Nagaram, CEO, Myntra.
Wildcraft has launched protection masks under its Hypashield range.
The Wildcraft Hypashield protection mask offers a three-layered filtration system for three types of particles. While the outer layer filters coarser dust particles, the middle layer is engineered to provide anti-bacterial, Government-approved lab-certified filtration efficiency, along with splash resistance to prevent droplet penetration and the innermost layer which is made of super soft fabric offers moisture management with an anti-bacterial finish.
The range will also feature a set of personal protective products such as safety overalls, sleeping bags and safety kits. “We plan to step into the Personal Protective Gear (PPG) segment with a set of products under the Hypashield umbrella meant to keep civilians, security, delivery, students and medical personnel etc., protected in the long run,” maintained Siddharth Sood and Gaurav Dublish, Founders, Wildcraft.
The masks are made to fit a wide range of face shapes and sizes and adhere to the highest standards to quality and safety. They are washable and this can be reused leading to a significant reduction in per-usage cost, also making them environment-friendly. They are available in packs of three, five and seven and are priced at Rs. 200 per piece.
On the safety side, Myntra is taking several measures to ensure its supply chain and delivery network is safe. This includes regular deep cleaning and sanitisation of its facilities. Besides, all delivery partners have been equipped with sanitisers and protective masks and are covered by COVID-19 insurance.
