Following the enthralling success of its maiden Vendor Session under B2B Matchmaking initiative with Easybuy, ASW Marketplace successfully held its second session with Jockey India few days back.
As it was with the first Vendor Meet, the one with Jockey India too opened to full house and garnered huge response from the industry.
Notably, the session was followed by several interesting questions from participants.
The informative Vendor Meet was addressed by Wicrant Gambhir, Head of Sourcing, Page Industries Ltd.
Page Industries is a Bengaluru-based exclusive licensee of JOCKEY International Inc. (USA) that manufactures, distributes and markets JOCKEY® brand in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and the UAE.
Wicrant, during the session, openly expressed Jockey’s expectations from its vendors and also what value suppliers too can expect from them.
While sharing that the company was looking for fresh vendors, Wicrant said that the business proposition was for about 2 million pieces per month.
He was distinct in his statement that business proposition of both parties need to create ZOPA – Zone of Possible Agreement, which can be expanded to build a strong association.
He also added that compliance to ethical manufacturing, keeping environmental and sustainability aspects on the forefront will be significant to a high mutual engagement score.
Much to the satisfaction of many attendees, Wicrant also stressed on bringing innovations to the table, maintaining outside-in approach and creating value for each other.
