In coming days, there will be 3 virtual shows for the Indian textile and apparel industry.
Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is organising the 1st Global Virtual Exhibition on ‘Textiles of India’ named Global Virtual Textile & Home Furnishing Expo.
It will be organised from 6 to 18 September and apart from fabrics and yarns, garments and home furnishing, it will also cover handicrafts and leather footwear & accessories.
It has been claimed that more than 7,000 visitors and approximately 500 buyers from US, Europe, ASEAN, CIS, Africa, SAARC and Middle East, etc. will take part in this show.
On the other hand, Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO) and FICCI will together organise the 7th edition of VASTRA event.
The show will be virtual this time and is scheduled to take place from 23 to 27 September.
The event will cover the entire supply chain of the textile industry right from fibre, yarn to technology and machinery. Organisers claim that the last edition of the show generated the business of US $ 56 million.
The Ministry of Textiles will also organise ‘Textile India 2020’ (virtual) event in November. More details of the event will be announced soon.
