Chennai will host the first-ever “Super Juniorz,” an event dedicated for Kids Fashion, Maternity and Baby Products, scheduled for 24-25 June 2019.
Organised by Peppermint Communication, Mumbai, the event aims to bring more than 100 exhibitors and, most importantly, 300 top retailers from across India. Besides, the event will bring to the fore several distributors and 5,000 visitors, mainly from Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
The event is slated to reach a humongous crowd of 72.14 million, employ skilled labour, utilise the well-developed infrastructure of the state (Tamil Nadu) and scratch the surface of Chennai’s fastest growth rate of 9.75 per cent.
In addition to having workshops and seminars during the event, a white paper will be released on the “Kids Business Market in India” along with the knowledge partner of the event Wazir Advisors.
The kids’ apparel industry comprises a staggering 20 per cent of the total apparel market share in India. Though the chunk of this industry is still occupied by 88 per cent of the unorganised sector, it represents the fastest growing segment in the Indian apparel sector.
The Indian consumer is very conscious of economical pricing and has a propensity towards unbranded clothing, which constitutes 51 per cent of the market share. In such a scenario, Super Juniorz shall serve the industry in a good way.
