The sixth edition of TANTU Textile Alumni Association seminar is slated to be held at India International Center, Max Muller Marg, New Delhi on 15th September 2018. This year’s theme is ‘The Art of Shirt Making’. Industry veteran Partho Kar, Chief Consultant at Biswa Bangla Retail, Government of West Bengal will be the Chief Guest for the event.
The seminar has already gathered attention from manufacturers and technology solution providers from India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Bangladesh. Industry experts from Hugo Boss, Laguna Clothing, Elite Garments, Raymonds, and Madura Garments will be participating in the innovative audio-visual panel discussions. The topics of the discussion will address upon ‘Business of shirt making’ along with the ‘Technology of shirt making’.
Even though Indian manufacturers produce finest men’s shirts for domestic market but in terms of exports, Bangladesh is ahead of India. Since there are never ending queries about the right method to be followed in the process of shirt making, the panel will be deliberating about the right technology to be used.
