Dr. Aykan brings collection 2010 of textile processing and washing machines
Dr. Aykan, the Turkish textile washing and processing equipment experts presented their latest 2010 innovation the economical ‘Ozonorum 150’ machine for the first time in GTE ’10.
Talking about the features of the machine, Ahmet Aykan, Managing Director of the company says, “This is the best and most economic ozone machine in India which comes with complete set of ozone systems with tampler and is fully automatic. It can run 24 hours non-stop and has a longer life, besides it is maintenance free.
“This machine gives natural clean and shiny effect on garments along with zero back staining on surface, inner side, tread, label and pockets,” says Aykan. “Today the industry is moving towards green and sustainable business. For this, it requires energy-efficient, low water and chemical consuming technologies. Ozonorum 150 does all that and more,” adds Aykan. The machine can treat 50 garments in 2 to 15 minutes and has adjustable ozone amount options from 1 to150 gr/h.
The cost of the machine is Rs. 10 lakh which is pretty reasonable seeing its efficiency and features. “We could offer such competitive price just because we are making the parts in Turkey and assembling the machine in India,” shares Aykan.
Ramsons Vertostar series washing machine a favourite
For over five decades Ramsons has been engaged in the manufacturing of garment-finishing equipments, laundry and dry cleaning equipments and other co-related garment manufacturing machines. In GTE’10, the company’s Vertostar Series fetched good enquiries. While interacting with Team StitchWorld on the third day of the fair, Sunder Belani, Director, Ramsons said, “We are exporting this washing machine to 40 countries. In the Indian market too the machine has been well received. Welspun has recently bought it, after comparing it with similar machine in the market.”
The machine has both the outer and inner drum made of tested stainless steel. This machine is hydraulically operated for lifting and unloading and consists of pneumatically operated drains and dual water inlet for hot and cold water. The heating system is versatile as it can be done through steam, electricity, gas or thermal fluid.
Hoffman – Shirt pressing line catches the eye of the visitors
Hoffman/New Yorker Inc. is among the oldest designers and manufacturers of two distinct product programmes consisting of garment/apparel presses for the garment manufacturers and laundry/dry cleaning presses for the processors. Today, the company maintains these product programmes as two separate divisions. The company has also added a few more specialized machines like fusing machinery for shirt makers, wrinkle-free processing machinery for trousers and shirts, a product line of automated vertical machines for specific tailored clothing manufacturing needs.
The entire system of shirt pressing from Hoffman comprises of number of equipments starting with ALC-8 Collar/Cuff finishing machine, which accomplishes the pressing of both these parts simultaneously in one operation. The machine gives a crisp shape and dimension to all types and styles of collars and cuffs. Then the shirt is loaded to the DBR-BVG shirt pressing system, which is a double-buck body press that simultaneously finishes the body, sleeves and the yoke. Macpi – Marking its core strength
Macpi Group, always ahead with futuristic technology in its garment finishing machines, now offers a world class jacket line machinery. Few of these machines are for “Jacket under pressing operations” and “final pressing”. The company also has Shoulder pressing, Collar pressing and Lapel pressing machines for jackets.

Simran Technologies – Confidence from customer a driving force
Delhi-based Simran Technologies (SIMTECH) has recently undergone a management change and the new energy and confidence in the company was obvious on meeting Sandeep Sood, MD, Simtech. “Last year was a little tough, but fortunately we didn’t lose any customers.” Sood attributes this fact to the strong after-sales-service. “We are still providing a dedicated service to even one of our first customers,” he emphasized.
The company markets Renzzau dry-cleaning machines which are well known for their durability, ease of operation and reliability. The machine has a shortest cycle time of 35 minutes. The latest version of the machine called ‘Progress series’ was launched in India recently which has an advanced microprocessor control over dry-cleaning parameters and is easy to operate.
Other products of the company include spotting chemicals – V1, V2 and V3. While V1 is oil-based spot remover which removes stains of paint, adhesives, nail polish, tar and ball point pen ink, V2 can remove stains from blood, body soils, urine, food and milk. The V3 can remove stains from tea, coffee, fruit juice, tobacco, perfume and liquor.
