India ITME (International Textile Machinery Exhibition) Society, a non-profit organisation that serves the textile engineering industry, has bagged the ‘Mega Quality Trophy’ for the third year in a row at an event held recently at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.
As per the press statement issued, the Society has been recognised for its values, expertise and quality services it offers to the industry. All leading industry associations – UFI, IAEE, ASSOCHAM, IEIA, IESA, ICPB, TCE & NSIC supported the award, it added.
“Focus and hard work are the success mantras in this era. It took 4 decades of consistent improvements, step by step, for the Society to achieve its vision,” said S. Hari Shankar, Chairman of India ITME Society which is focussed to support and serve the textile engineering industry through exhibitions, events, trade promotion services, education scholarships, student placements and consultancy.
At the event, Michael Dalmet was also acknowledged for his 38 years of services in the exhibition industry.
Notably, ITME 2012 and 2016 exhibitions also won awards in Royal Show Category, Knowledge Hub Category, Best Use of Technology Category, Corporate Excellence Category & Excellence in Operations Category. The ITME events play hosts to business visitors from over 63 countries across the globe.
Presently, India ITME Society is preparing to host GTTES-2019, the largest textile Technology & Engineering Event for India scheduled to be organised in Mumbai from February 1-3.
