India’s most-awaited and premiere fashion event, Lakmé Fashion Week, is back with its Winter/Festive edition, scheduled to be staged from 21 to 25 August 2019, at St. Regis, Mumbai.
The magnificent event will hold on to its legacy of unveiling cutting-edge designs that are set to outdo their past and innovations that are to embark in the fashion and beauty domain.
Pursuing the underlying essence of “Redefining the future of fashion and Integrate India into the global fashion world,” Lakmé Fashion Week is dedicated to promoting the local artisans, identifying as well as endorsing new talents through incorporating model auditions and Gen Next – a discovery platform for budding designers.
Gen Next holds itself responsible for the success of many fresh talents into famous designers with the fashion industry transgressing its limits with designers like Masaba Gupta, Nachiket Bharve and Rahul Mishra.
The approaching edition will further inculcate discussions over innovation, creativity, circular fashion, cutting-edge design and technology.
Ashwath Swaminathan, Head of Innovations at Lakmé, said in the press release, “Lakmé Fashion Week has always focused on launching groundbreaking beauty and fashion trends and, showcasing them on the runway.
