Colorjet Group, manufacturer of digital inkjet printers in India, has introduced Oxyvent!
What’s Oxyvent? It’s a designer face filter with creative prints enhancing the aesthetic. The launch is a result of the new need created in the market owing to COVID-19 outbreak.
Importantly, the company has set aside Rs. 25 million as an initial investment for the innovation and will be printing 100,000 filters a day.
In collaboration with Japanese Technology, it has installed Direct to Fabric, Dye Sublimation, Direct to Garment and Laser Cutting & Finishing machines.
Adhering to all safety requirements, these filters also have an additional design print to encourage people wearing them.
Oxyvent features multiple filter layers that are made using 100 per cent cotton with 120 TC and melt blown material. It also has moisture, anti bacterial finish that delivers 95 per cent Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFF).
The designs are digitally printed using Oeko-Tex approved inks. Moreover, these are designed to deliver better fit and are sustainable. It has also collaborated with Web-2-Print workflow solution provider by Early Vision from Israel.
“We have conceptualised a hand-crafted fashionable necessity that provides safety while encouraging the fashion it has yet to set. Committing to our core design values of being ‘economic, efficient and ecological’, we are using our own renowned international digital textile print technology,” said Colorjet Group MD MS Dadu at the launch of Oxyvent face filters.
Furthermore, for the designs the company has collaborated with Emma Tranchini, an Italian fashion designer and Niti Singhal, the native couturier of the New York Fashion Week fame. Niti also displayed range of collection printed using Colorjet textile printer.
“For mass customisation of our designer face filters we needed an end to end workflow solution for our manufacturing. To achieve this, we have collaborated with Guy Alroy of Early Vision as our pattern cutting solution provider because of its intuitive, easy-to-use tools and functionalities. Its insight into implementing Early Vision down the road, to enable efficient workflows for mass customisation and on-demand manufacturing makes it the best in the industry. It will also minimise errors in communication with our partners, hence, saving time and costs,” said Smarth Bansal, DGM-Product & Brand, Colorjet.
The mask will be available for men, women and kids.
