Developing innovative, user-friendly 2D and 3D CAD solutions for all cut-fabric and fashion-related industries, OptiTex is working together with Intel, the leading producer of microchips, computing and communications products, to solve technical challenges coming across during accurate physical simulation of clothing such as systems of linear equations, collision detection and force field calculations.
OptiTex technology used by Intel will be on show in Belgium at the 1st Research@Intel Europe Day when Intel will be demonstrating research and vision for the future of information technology using high-tech OptiTex technology.
OptiTex will also be using 3D visualization technology for garment fitting by synthetically reproducing a 3-dimensional model of clothing items giving the garment a realistic look. Using the latest and much powerful Intel® Xeon® processor 5680, it is working on innovative solutions to achieve accurate synthesis to get a wide range of human body shapes and advanced content creation tools.
