Shaka, the handbag brand, is developing a new shopping app with integrated technologies like augment reality and artificial intelligence.
This comes as the online-only brand witnessed a continued growth even at a time when the pandemic was at its peak.
The use of the technology in the mobile shopping app will help streamline the customer shopping experience while making the complete journey much more interactive thereby helping in making better purchase decisions.
Moreover, the use of such technologies bridges the gap between the online and offline shopping experience.
“A Shaka app is under development as we speak. We want to bring in best in class technologies like augmented reality and artificial intelligence so as to give our customers an amazing experience every time they interact with one of our interfaces,” said Shaka Bhat, Co-founder, Shaka.
She further informs that the brand is expected to witness growth by 150 per cent this year in revenue terms.
After halting its production in the factories for certain months, the brand resumed its operations at factory in Kolkata in June following the lifting of the pan-India lockdown.
Shaka will be launching the new handbag collection soon on its e-commerce website.
