In Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh, a high-rise “plug and play” factory project is about to get underway. Small enterprises will have fully furnished spaces thanks to this project. This project, which is being carried out by the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), would cost US $ 8.7 million (Rs. 76 crore) and include the construction of two seven-story towers. Each of the 96 units that will be housed in these buildings will be about 1200 square feet in size.
The project has been targeted for completion in 24 months. Within the Oswal factory complex, a 25-acre block of land is being used to build this facility. About US $ 40 million (Rs. 350 crore) is expected to be invested in this project, which would also provide jobs for 1500 young people.
The garment manufacturing industry will be one of the industries given priority in this project. According to MPIDC authorities, this project will be beneficial for those establishing industries at low cost. There will be 96 flats in a block, each roughly 1173 square feet in size.
This project will provide small investors a chance to compete with more established industries. Operating on a plug-and-play concept, this will be the first high-rise industrial factory of its kind in the Mandideep industrial area.
