Apparel, Made-Ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council’s (AMHSSC) effort to develop the skill sector was recently felicitated with an award at The Park Hotel, New Delhi. The award was presented by F-TECH Group as it completes 25 years in the industry.
Gracing the auspicious occasion were the distinguished chief guests, Parvesh Sahib Verma, Honourable Member of Parliament and Padmashree awardee Ashok Bhagat, Founder Vikas Bharti.
Dr. Roopak Vasishtha, CEO & DG, AMHSSC was awarded for his contribution in promoting Skill India Mission. The need of the hour is to prepare the youth with regard to Industry 4.0 and train them for technology-oriented job profiles.
He says, “We will make more sustained efforts to take forward the Skill India mission started by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We will integrate new areas of technology in our training modules, prepare our candidates as per Industry 4.0 and will create new employment opportunities for youth.”
AMHSSC is working out new programmes that will help to upgrade the skillset of the youth employed in this sector.
