Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister Madhya Pradesh (MP) has said that the State has good potential for the textile industry to grow, and work is being done to make the state a textile hub.
He said that the state will provide employment opportunities to a large number of people. The CM assured that full support will be provided by the Government to the investors and industries.
He was talking to the Chairman of Sagar Group, Sudhir Kumar Agrawal who met Chief Minister and discussed about investment in the state.
The Group had earlier announced about huge investment in textile industry and reiterated that it will invest around Rs. 1,000 crore and create more than 4,000 jobs.
The State recently attracted investment from Best Corporation, Tirupur. Besides, few other companies are also planning to invest in the state.
The State is also improving its connectivity as CM virtually launched the international flight from Indore to Dubai and the airline services from Gwalior to Delhi and Indore.
Indore is one of the leading apparel manufacturing hubs for the domestic market and also exports to Dubai and other middle-east countries. The newly started direct flight from Indore to Dubai will increase the apparel export from Indore.
Air India will provide air services between Indore and Dubai once a week on Wednesdays. IndiGo flights will be available daily from Gwalior to Delhi and Indore.
A grand new airport will be established in Gwalior at a cost of Rs. 500 crore.
