SM Knitwear is a leading manufacturer and supplier of school uniforms as well as corporate uniforms. In addition, it manufactures T-shirts for malls and also specializes in making trousers, jackets and track suits. With an annual turnover of 5 crores, the company produces around 2,000 pieces per day.

Although Japanese machines are better in quality, Singh feels Chinese machines have an edge as these are cost-effective. “We have around 60 machines and all of them are from Juki, Jack and Brother. They are economical and good in quality as well,” avers Singh.
