India has been facing the brunt of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic since April ’21 and the infection rate is increasingly high this year as compared to 2020.
With the outbreak of the pandemic in the country, there has been an acute shortage of medical supplies, particularly the oxygen concentrators, and various associations as well as overseas companies in the fashion & textile industry are extending hands to offer help.
Jack Stock – a leading Chinese sewing technology group that has huge market share in India (second after China) – has stepped up to address the issue of serious shortage of medical supplies.
The Group says many of its agents, distributors and employees residing in the country got infected, and it’s the responsibility of Jack to take care of its members.
As outbreak became serious, Jack team decided to help the Indian agent’s teams to take immediate measures and assisted the them with hundreds of oxygen concentrators, blood oxygen meters and around 1,000 boxes of anti-epidemic drugs urgently that have been delivered to India via international express delivery.
Following the shipment of required material to India, Ruan Jixiang, Founder of Jack Stock, released letter of condolences to the Indian citizens appreciating the help offered by various countries and the vaccination drive of the Indian Government.
“The people of India have been in our thoughts over the past several weeks as we have watched, with mourning concern, the effects of the pandemic caused by COVID-19. We are here to send our deepest sympathy following this terrible pandemic to the people of India and our most heartfelt condolences to those who have lost loved ones,” reads the letter sent by Ruan.
