Campus Activewear Ltd. has reported a significant 86 per cent jump in net profit for the third quarter ending December 2024, reaching US $ 5.5 million (Rs. 47 crore) compared to approximately US $ 3 million (Rs. 25 crore) in the same quarter last year.
The company’s revenue also saw positive growth, rising by 9 per cent to approximately US $ 59 million (Rs. 515 crore) from approximately US $ 54 million (Rs. 472 crore) in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
CEO of Campus Activewear, Nikhil Agarwal, attributed the strong performance to the company’s aggressive distribution strategy, increased online sales driven by the festive season, and successful navigation of a challenging macroeconomic environment. He noted that this builds on the growth momentum seen in the second quarter of FY ’25, with Q3 revenue being the highest ever recorded by the company.
Agarwal highlighted double-digit growth in key North, Central, and West Indian states, along with a rapid expansion into focused Southern markets through increased online presence. The company also strengthened its product portfolio by introducing 69 new articles during the quarter, including new SKUs for the women’s category.
Campus Activewear expanded its retail footprint by adding six new stores during the quarter, bringing its total number of exclusive brand outlets to 290 across India. The brand also entered the quick commerce arena through a partnership with Zepto.
