Columbia Sportswear, a global manufacturer of outdoor sportswear, has expanded its retail presence in India with the opening of its largest store in Bengaluru.
Based in Portland, Oregon, USA, Columbia Sportswear is a global brand that crafts outdoor gear fortified with industry-leading technologies and is ‘tested tough’ before reaching the end consumer.
Over the next six months, the Portland-based sportswear company plans to open stores in Lucknow, Mangalore, Indore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and other cities.
The brand is also focusing on strengthening its digital presence with a dedicated online portal for outdoor sportswear products.
Commenting on the launch, Ankur Bhatia, CEO of Chogori India Retail Limited which retails Columbia Sportswear in India, in a statement said “With the advent of our fourth store in Bangalore and the largest one in India, we aim to be the game changer and known as the best outdoor sportswear brand in India.”
