Activewear label Fitkin has recently secured investment on Shark Tank India, as founder Surbhi Chawla presented the brand’s portfolio of performance-driven fitness apparel tailored for contemporary women.
During the pitch, Chawla outlined the technical differentiators that position Fitkin within the competitive activewear market. She highlighted that the brand’s garments incorporate features such as four-way stretch fabrics, anti-odour technology, breathable panels, and anti-chafing materials designed to enhance comfort and functionality during workouts.
Fitkin operates with an integrated business model, managing design, manufacturing, and quality control in-house. This approach allows the company to maintain consistency across its product range while retaining tighter control over development processes. The brand also places emphasis on size-inclusivity and practical design elements, including hidden pockets aimed at improving usability.
Among its product portfolio, the Women’s 1/4 Zip Slim Fit T-shirt has emerged as the company’s leading product, contributing approximately 20% of total sales across its 36 SKUs.

The company reported revenue of Rs. 98 lakh (US $106,000) in FY 2021–22, which rose to Rs. 1.97 crore (US $213,000) in FY 2022–23, and further increased to Rs. 2.34 crore (US $253,000) in FY 2024–25. The business, which remains bootstrapped, has recorded year-to-date revenue of Rs. 1.6 crore (US $173,000 ) and is projecting net sales of Rs. 3 crore (US $324,000) for FY 2025–26.
Fitkin continues to operate profitably, with EBITDA margins in the range of 12–13% and net profit margins between 8–10%. The company’s average order value stands at approximately Rs. 1,650 (US $17.85), with core leggings priced between Rs. 1,249 (US $13.51) and Rs. 1,499 (US $16.22).
Following discussions around the company’s financials and growth strategy, investor Vineeta Singh agreed to invest Rs. 1 crore (US $ 108,000) in exchange for an 11% equity stake. The deal values Fitkin at approximately Rs. 9.09 crore (US $ 983,000), marking a significant milestone in the brand’s growth trajectory within India’s expanding women’s activewear market.
