Global fashion brand, GAP has expanded its retail presence in India with the introduction of GAP Kiosks, a new compact format designed to boost accessibility and visibility in high-traffic locations. The development was announced by a company representative on LinkedIn, signalling the brand’s latest strategic move after establishing more than 50 stores nationwide.
The kiosks build on the success of GAP’s existing retail formats — including GAP Family, GAP Kids, GAP Adults and GAP Outlets — and reflect the company’s continued commitment to growth and innovation in the Indian market. Conceived as agile, space-efficient touchpoints, the kiosks aim to engage a broader customer base across major malls while delivering convenience and a seamless shopping experience tailored to evolving consumer habits.
In the announcement post, a spokesperson noted that early consumer response had been “highly encouraging,” emphasising that the format already shows strong potential as an integral part of GAP’s expanding retail ecosystem in India.
By adopting this scalable model, GAP aims to strengthen nationwide brand consistency and reach new customers through flexible, efficient retail channels. The company expects the kiosk format to play a key role in accelerating its footprint across the country in the coming months.
