The premier kaftan brand in India, The Kaftan Company (TKC), has announced the opening of its first physical location in Hyderabad. The new store, which is located in the affluent Banjara Hills neighbourhood, formally opened on 30th June, signalling a critical turning point in TKC’s transition from an online direct-to-consumer business to an omnipresent fashion brand.
The 770 square foot TKC store is intended to offer a customised and engaging shopping experience. The store offers a wide selection of loungewear for men and women, children’s clothing, and kaftans for both sexes. The store features carefully chosen items that are only available at the offline location, showcasing TKC’s whole collection.
Speaking about this, Prakruti Gupta Rao and Navin S Rao, Co-Founders of TKC, said, “Opening our first physical store is a natural progression for The Kaftan Company as we continue to grow and meet the evolving needs of our customers. Over the past years, our customers have expressed numerous requests for an offline store where they can physically experience our products.”
In the next two to three years, the company aims to develop a foothold in every major metropolis in India. With a customer retention rate of 60%, the business has built a foundation of devoted clients. Leading online e-commerce sites like Myntra, TataCliq, Ajio, Shoppers Stop, and others provide the brand’s collections.
