Myntra, the fashion e-commerce platform owned by Flipkart, is poised for a leadership transition, with Chief Executive Officer Nandita Sinha expected to step down in the coming weeks, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Sinha, who has been associated with the Flipkart group for over a decade, assumed the role of Myntra CEO in 2022. Her anticipated departure comes at a critical juncture for the Walmart-owned company, which is reportedly preparing for a potential public listing within the next 12 to 15 months. The development also follows a series of senior-level exits across the organisation in recent months.
Sources indicated that Sharon Pais, currently leading Flipkart Fashion, is the frontrunner to succeed Sinha and take charge of Myntra’s operations.
A Flipkart spokesperson declined to comment on the matter, stating that the company does not comment on market speculation.
The expected leadership change follows other recent executive movements within Myntra. Earlier this year, Chief Financial Officer Abhishek Gupta exited the company to join Livspace, with Kannan Ganesan subsequently appointed as his replacement.
