Giving a strong push to its international expansion plans, the fashion e-commerce giant Myntra has recently unveiled Myntra Fashion brands in the Middle East.
The Flipkart-owned fashion and lifestyle marketplace joined hands with UAE-based conglomerate Emaar Group’s leading e-commerce platforms, Noon (noon.com) and Namshi (namshi.com) to offer its work-from-home collections including leisure and casualwear from various brands of Indian origin to customers in the region.
“The COVID-19 outbreak has made the needs of consumers consistent across the globe. The pandemic has expedited a lot of our aspirations,” Amar Nagaram, CEO, Myntra, told ET, further stating,“We felt it was the right time to take leisure wear, T-shirts, athleisure wear from our in-house brands overseas.”
Talking about the two labels, while on one hand, the e-commerce portal Noon is a horizontal online platform retailing products across various categories, Namshi, on the other hand, is a vertical platform primarily catering to shoppers demanding premium fashion apparel.
Brands listed on Noon include Dressberry, Mast & Harbour, ModaRapido, Here & Now, Sztori and HRX, whereas Namshi will offer brands like Dressberry, Mast & Harbour, Wrogn and HRX over the next few weeks.
Myntra will be adding nearly 500 styles on each platform.
