Myntra, which is India’s leading destination for fashion and lifestyle, offers COVID-19 relief measures with the intent to help platform’s marketplace brand partners traverse through tough times.
The fashion e-commerce firm has also pledged to take up all COVID-19 related medical expenses.
Additionally, it will offer structural relaxations for the extension of timeframes on various commitments and waiver of fees amongst others – much to the benefit of brand partners.
Myntra has also committed to provide to its 2,000 marketplace brand partners a special COVID insurance covering up to Rs. 300,000.
And that’s not all!
The e-commerce company will also be reimbursing vaccine-related costs for the brand partners as well as for two of their family members.
Here it is important to mention that Myntra is all set to vaccinate its frontline staff – including the delivery workforce – free of cost at its office premises, besides its own employees. It will also offer home care support for all these employees.
Myntra is providing operation support too for brand partners. It has relaxed order fulfilment turnaround time (customer order to arrival at logistics centre/station) from 24 hours to 48 hours.
Besides, Seller Protection Fund (SPF), the window within which the sellers make claims against returned products, has also been extended from 14 to 45 days.
This apart, Myntra has waived all order cancellation charges for the brand partners (for April and May).
More on this, Rajesh Narkar, VP, Marketplace, Omni & International Brands Business, Myntra, said that the main intent of introducing these special initiatives was to extend full support to Myntra’s brand partners to continue run their operations smoothly.
He added “Our measures are in the interest of both, the health of their organisations and of the people who run them, by adding a layer of immunity against any possible systemic effects that could result from the pandemic.”
Myntra has partnered with more than 5,000+ leading fashion and lifestyle brands in the country such as Nike, adidas, Puma, Levi’s and Wrangler, amongst others.
