Premium fashion and lifestyle label Nicobar is expanding the purview of its popular homeware line by introducing a whimsical and sustainable range of tableware in response to consumer demand.
The pandemic has altered perceptions as people have started celebrating and decorating their homes having spent so much times indoors, thus blurring the lines between clothing and interior décor.
With more people looking forward to showing off their eclectic home design, Nicobar’s new homeware collection named ‘Madagascar’ includes a range of new product launches.
Nicobar’s Facebook page carried the announcement for the new collection and the expansion into tableware. “Beyond our stoneware staples, Madagascar also features an all-new (and our first-ever!) line of plates, cups and bowls made completely of bamboo.” The brand further emphasised on their ease of use, especially around kids, how lightweight they are and their environment friendliness.

Apart from the new range, Nicobar has also brought forth its latest menswear and womenswear collection for the festive season – ‘Mahiri’.
According to the brand’s Facebook post regarding the same, the collection was created to celebrate despite the ongoing pandemic and is a response to the challenges of 2020.
Nicobar is a brand that integrates the Indian design heritage in its collection but with a modern interpretation. Simran Lal founded the brand with her husband Rahul Rai after working at her mother’s fashion and lifestyle brand Good Earth.
