Sportswear giant Reebok and LA-based streetwear label PLEASURES have unveiled their collaboration – Beatnik slip-on sandal, a unisex silhouette re-releasing for the first time since 2018.
The PLEASURES x Reebok Beatnik, which was initially teased by PLEASURES via Instagram this May, will be available exclusively on the label’s online portal beginning 30 July, a day earlier than its global release at Reebok.com on 31 July.
The Indian arm of Reebok will make the collaborative PLEASURES X Reebok Beatnik available from 31 July onwards for a price of Rs. 9,999 on Reebok’s official website.
Key features of the unisex sandal include removable heel strap for smoother slip-on, all black canvas upper and rippled rubber outsole and a spider web design signifying our lives crossing paths.
Additionally, the sandals come in a custom cinch bag with a spider key chain.
“The Beatnik is comfort interacting with style on a new level,” said Co-founder of PLEASURES, Alex James, speaking on the launch of this collaboration. “The removable strap makes it way easier to wear. In a world where we are spending more time indoors, this is an ideal shoe.”
