Activewear brand TechnoSport has appointed Achal Sharma as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), tasking him with leading the company’s technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives, according to a company statement released on Wednesday.
In his new role, Sharma will be responsible for shaping the brand’s technology vision across digital platforms, engineering, data science and product development. He will also focus on strengthening the company’s technology architecture as TechnoSport prepares for its next phase of growth.
Sharma brings more than 18 years of experience in building and scaling technology teams across the consumer and digital commerce sectors. Before joining TechnoSport, he held senior leadership positions at several prominent companies, including Wakefit, Myntra, Mobile Premier League and Vision11.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Puspen Maity said Sharma’s experience in scaling technology teams and driving innovation was expected to play an important role in strengthening the company’s digital ecosystem.
Sharma stated that he was looking forward to building scalable technology platforms that would support the brand’s growth and enhance consumer engagement.
The appointment comes as TechnoSport continues to invest in strengthening its digital capabilities while expanding its footprint in India’s rapidly growing activewear market.
