
COVID-19 vaccination starts at the factory of Gurugram-based Pearl Global Industries Ltd.
The staff of the Government hospital visited the factory and has so far vaccinated 140 workers/employees of the unit.
The company is having 5 facilities across Gurugram and there are around 1,000 employees and workers in these factories. All the employees will get the jab in next few weeks.
Pearl Global Industries Ltd. is India’s leading apparel manufacturer.

Anand Bhatia, SVP Operation-Woven, North and Bhagwan Dass, HR Manager of the company, who is taking care of this campaign, told Apparel Resources, “Initially few of the workers were having apprehensions regarding vaccination, but after observing that their colleagues are safe, they also came forward to get themselves vaccinated. It gave them confidence as well as motivation to fight COVID-19 and follow all precautions to remain safe.”
They further added that the vaccination drive started smoothly and the production schedule was planned keeping the same in mind.
Workers are happy with this initiative as their time and efforts were saved regarding vaccination. Few of the workers even brought their aged parents for vaccination.
Post vaccination, all employees were found to be normal and joined work following the necessary protocol.
