
Apparel exporter and other stakeholders of the apparel industry are continuously supporting the society in different ways.
In one such latest development, Indore-based leading apparel exporter Pratibha Syntex Ltd., in association with Fairtrade, distributed sewing machines and made fixed deposits, which has benefitted its 3,024 employees.
Well-known brands Patagonia, Prana and Pact also supported this initiative that aims to bring visible change in the overall livelihood of grassroots employees, creating a more enriching work environment.
Fairtrade is one of the most trusted sustainable trading standards in the world that transfers wealth back to farmers and workers in developing countries ensuring a decent income and decent work.

Employees who benefited from this initiative expressed gratitude towards the management and Fairtrade as this support will help their children dream big, and open up new avenues of income.
“We are extremely grateful towards the initiative by Fairtrade and our brand partners. Since 2014, our associates have been benefiting under the programme, and it is satisfying to see their progress over the years,” said HS Jha, VP HR, Pratibha Syntex Ltd.
It is worth mentioning here that Pratibha Syntex has been organising Fairtrade Premium Programme since 2014. Over the years, raincoats, water purifiers, mixer grinders, cookware, refrigerators, washing machines and other home appliances were presented to associates.
