In April-October 2025, Indian textile exports saw a decline of -3.54% compared to the previous year, while apparel exports saw a 1.13% increase. Cumulative exports of apparel and textiles from April to October 2025 saw a decline of -1.57% over the same period in 2024, according to an analysis by the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI).
For April-October 2025, textile exports reached US $ 11,569.39 million as compared to US $ 11,994.33 million in April-October 2024 while apparel exports reached US $ 8,832.56 million in April-October 2025 as compared to US $ 8,733.72 million in April-October 2024. Cumulative textile and apparel exports in April-October 2025 reached US $ 20,401.95 million as compared to US $ 20,728.05 million in April-October 2024.
In October 2025, Indian textile exports saw a -12.92% decline in growth compared to the previous year, while apparel exports saw a degrowth of -12.88%. Cumulative textile and apparel exports in October 2025 decreased by -12.91% compared to October 2024.
Textile exports in October 2025 reached US $ 1,596.99 million from an amount of US $ 1,833.96 million in October 2024, while apparel exports reached US $ 1,069.42 million in October 2025, compared to US $ 1,227.58 million in October 2024. Cumulative textile and apparel exports reached US $ 2,666.41 million in October 2025 as compared to US $ 3,061.54 million in October 2024.
