Rahul Mehta has been elected as the new President of the International Apparel Federation (IAF) for the next two years by the general assembly of IAF, held during the 30th IAF World Fashion Convention in Medellin, Colombia. Previously, he was associated with Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) as President. The IAF general assembly also appointed Claudio Marenzi, President of the Italian Apparel and Textile Association Systema Moda Italia (SMI) as the Vice-President of the federation. IAF is the world’s leading federation for apparel manufacturers, associations, apparel retailers and other supporting industries.
