
India-based Siyaram Silk Mills, which last year acquired rights to manufacture and market Italian fashion brand Cadini in the country, is mulling to open about 15 Cadini stores with an investment of around Rs. 15 crore in the current financial year.
Gaurav Poddar, Executive Director, Siyaram informed Deccan Herald, “Our aim is to have these stores on high streets and destination shopping malls of metro cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. We acquired the brand rights for Cadini last year and had launched the fabrics. Now with the launch of the readymade garments, our plan is to open 10-15 stores this year,” adding, “We are aiming for revenues of around Rs 125 crore in the current fiscal from Cadini.”

Founded in 1970 in Florence, Italy, Cadini manufactures of men’s garments and accessories. Over the years, Cadini has grown from a manufacturer into a classic menswear label, manufacturing its own assortments.
At present, the brand vies with some of the biggies in menswear as it continues to grow and explore new markets. Gruppo Cadini operates in over 40 countries, including China, England, India, Mexico, Russia, USA, and others.
