Indochine International, a global sourcing and manufacturing company in textiles, with headquarters in China, and offices in over 5 countries, employing around 6,000 workforce across the globe, has installed WFX – the next generation, cloud-based ERP & PLM software tailored for the apparel and fashion industry. It is easy to use, flexible, and simple to integrate with its clients’ ERPs. With an impressive growth through its client’s base like Forever New, Guess, and DKNY, Indochine’s biggest challenge was to achieve uniformity among teams operating from different geographies and following varied processes, while not disrupting the performance of the organization. Indochine opted to go for WFX software by seeing its creative and adaptable functionality which would solve most of their issues and not only introduce a single platform for their global team but would also scale with their business.
WFX team identified four specific goals to ensure that Indochine achieves stability and growth like integrating local processes to a single platform and also establishing global controls and pre-defined frameworks. Besides this, setting up an approval matrix and provide transparency along with automate processes to eliminate duplication of efforts.
Through the integrated order management, manufacturing and shipping modules, every department now possesses detailed instructions on requirements, deadlines, and real-time delay notifications in their work orders. Sharing his views about the advantages of WFX ERP, Kevin, IT Manager of Indochine says, “Different departments had different spreadsheets. It was very difficult to integrate and read the data. With WFX, we were able to get all of that in the same platform. Cross-platform reports used to take two days minimum to compile whereas now it takes only 10 to 15 minutes.”
