Popees Baby Care, a leading provider of baby care products and apparel, has further strengthened its presence in Kerala with the opening of its newest store in Kollam. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the brand, demonstrating its commitment to reaching more families across India.
Managing Director and Chairman of Popees Group, Shaju Thomas said that they are thrilled with the newly launched store further establishing a stronger retail presence in the country. Thomas also said that this underscores their commitment to grow the baby care market.
Popees Baby Care has been actively expanding its retail footprint across the country. In addition to the new Kollam store, the brand recently opened four new outlets in Kerala. Looking ahead, the company plans to open 42 more stores in the coming financial year, with a focus on key markets in South India, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. The brand also has plans to expand its international presence with new stores in the UAE.
Founded in 2003 by entrepreneur Shaju Thomas, Popees Baby Care offers a comprehensive range of products, including personal care items, diapers, clothing, toys, and maternity wear. The company employs over 2,000 individuals and operates three production facilities with the capacity to produce over five lakh garments per month.
