Vardhman Textiles has released their third-quarter financial results for FY ’24–25, showing a flat performance in comparison to earlier quarters.
Vardhman Textiles’ net profit increased 31.44 per cent to US $ 24.54 million (Rs. 212 crore) in the quarter that ended in December 2024 from US $ 18.76 million (Rs. 162 crore) in the quarter that ended in December 2023. In the quarter that ended in December 2024, sales increased 5.83 per cent to US $ 285.40 million (Rs. 2,465 crore) from US $ 270 million (Rs. 2,330 crore) in the quarter that ended in December 2023.
Regarding profitability, Vardhman Textiles recorded a half-year Profit After Tax (PAT) of US $ 47.2 million (Rs. 407.46 crore), which is a noteworthy increase of 38.34 per cent over the previous year. This upward trend in PAT indicates that, in spite of the quarter’s generally lacklustre performance, the company is improving its earnings.
With several production sites spread around India, Vardhman is the biggest vertically integrated textile business in the country. The group manufactures and trades acrylic fibre, sewing thread, yarn and processed fabric.
