For the third quarter that concluded in December 2024, apparel manufacturer Gokaldas Exports Ltd. recorded a 65 per cent increase in net profit to US $ 6 million compared to US $ 3.6 million in the same quarter the previous year.
Compared to Rs. 552 crore (US $ 66.24 million) in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company’s revenue for the quarter increased by 79 per cent to Rs. 988 crore (US $ 118.56 million).
Sivaramakrishnan Ganapathi, managing director of Gokaldas Exports Ltd, commented on the results, stating that in Q3FY25, the company saw significant increases in total income, PAT, and EBITDA. For the first time, Gokaldas Exports crossed the Rs. 1000 crore (US $ 120 million) milestone in total income during the quarter. Additionally, EBITDA margins improved sequentially, reflecting strong performance.
He further added that the company expects business volume to increase in both acquired entities in the coming quarters, along with a sustained and stable performance moving forward.
With more than 23 garment production facilities in India, Gokaldas Exports, which was founded in 1985, is among the biggest apparel manufacturers and exporters.
