KiranaPro, India’s completely ONDC-integrated, AI-powered fast commerce platform, has acquired Likeo, a company that specialises in augmented reality-based virtual try-on technology. KiranaPro’s fashion commerce platform, Black, will integrate Likeo’s immersive trial room features, catering to Gen Z and tech-savvy consumers.
According to a press statement from the company, Black is now the first app in India to provide AI-powered virtual try-ons for clothing, jewellery, and eyewear. The feature aims to provide customers with a seamless, entertaining purchasing experience by combining visual computing, customisation, and interactivity.
Deepak Ravindran, the founder and CEO of KiranaPro, stated, “This acquisition is a bold step in our vision to reinvent online shopping in India.” Likeo’s technology enables us to provide customers with a mirrorless purchasing experience that is incredibly personal, enjoyable, and frictionless.
As part of the deal, Likeo’s founder and CEO, Saurav Kumar, will become a member of KiranaPro’s leadership team, fostering innovation in artificial intelligence and visual computing. In the upcoming weeks, Black will launch the Likeo-powered trial area, providing early access to accessories and clothing first.
