
Page Industries Limited, an exclusive licensee of Jockey for manufacturing, distribution and marketing of the Jockey brand in India and few other countries, has announced to invest Rs. 290 crore in Telangana.
After companies like Kitex Garments, Welspun, Ganesha Ecosphere, Youngone, Gokaldas Images, Page Industries is the latest company to invest in the state.
The company will set up two factories to manufacture sportswear and athleisurewear and will be creating jobs for around 7000 people.
The unit at Whitegold Spintex Park Facility (Ibrahimpatnam) will be a 1,50,000 sq. ft. Plug- and-Play facility built by Whitegold Spintex Park and leased to Page Industries. While the second unit at Mulugu (Siddipet) will be on 25 acre land, providing employment to 4,000 youngsters.

Led by V Ganesh, MD of the company, the top management team of Page Industries had a meeting with KT Rama Rao (KTR), Telangana IT and Industries Minister and made this announcement. Top state officials – Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary (industries); E.V.Narsimha Reddy, TSIIC VC and MD and Mihir Parekh, Director (textiles) were also present in the meeting.
The Minister welcomed the company to Telangana and assured them full cooperation.
