
In the Indian textile and apparel sector, a transformative milestone has been announced – In order to establish a new entity named SPECTRA, Epic Group, under the direction of Executive Chairman Ranjan Mahtani, and Creative Group, under the direction of Chairman Vijay Agarwal, along with Vishwanshu and Arunanshu Agarwal, have formally engaged into a strategic joint venture.
With the signing of the shareholder agreement and an initial investment of US $ 15 million, this collaboration—which started with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 9th January 2025—has advanced towards a long-term goal of reaching Rs. 500 crore (US $ 60 million) in scale.
SPECTRA’s first venture has also been announced which will be India’s largest sustainable denim and bottoms facility. This initial project has the potential to transform the denim and bottoms industry in India and become one of the largest operations of its kind in the country thanks to a top-notch production facility that can create 700,000 pieces per month.
The new facility, according to the companies, will be powered by renewable energy, create employment for 3,000 people in phase one, expanding to 10,000+, will drive innovation and set new benchmarks in denim manufacturing and is committed to community development and sustainable growth.
