Garment manufacturer KITEX Garments Limited has posted 25,000 job openings at its facilities in Telangana’s Warangal and Sitarampur. The business is spending US $ 350 million (Rs. 3,000 crore) on its factories in Warangal and Sitarampur, which are close to Hyderabad, in order to produce 22 lakh garments every day.
Despite having a December 2024 start date, the company is rumoured to have experienced a delay. Trial runs have already been finished, though, and commercial operations should start in a few months.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao shared the news on X on Tuesday and expressed his happiness at the fact that Telangana is seeing a significant increase in employment because of KITEX. He expressed his gratitude to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for having the idea to create the largest Textile park in India, Kakatiya Mega.
