Mafatlal Industries Limited, a Textile manufacturing Company has named Raghunath Mannil Balakrishnan as Director Strategy & Projects, following his transition from the role of CEO after more than three decades of service with the company.
The transition marks a new chapter in Balakrishnan’s association with Mafatlal Industries, where he will focus on driving strategic projects while continuing to support the company’s vision and future expansion plans.
While breaking the news, Priyavrata Mafatlal, Managing Director and CEO, stated, “For over 30 years, Balakrishnan has been an integral part of Mafatlal Industries’ journey, contributing to its growth, transformation, and business development across changing business realities.”
He noted that Balakrishnan’s impact extends beyond the positions he has held, highlighting the trust he built within the organization, the people he mentored, and the role he played in strengthening the institution over the years.
Before joining Mafatlal Industries, Raghunath built experience in the paints industry. He worked as an Area Sales Manager at Berger Paints India for more than three years prior to that, he also served as a Senior Sales Supervisor at Shalimar Paints for four years.
