
In an effort to draw businesses and entrepreneurs from the western state to his state, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav staged a roadshow in Surat, Gujarat, on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters in Gujarat’s major industrial centre, Surat, Chief Minister Yadav stated that his state offers a great deal of opportunity for investments across a range of industries. He added that plans for investments of Rs 15,710 crore have been unveiled, creating about 11,500 new job possibilities.
Madhya Pradesh has a lot of promise, according to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, adding that the state is at a stage where entrepreneurs from all industries are prepared to work from both inside and outside the state. Numerous more businesspeople have indicated that they would like to join Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister went on to say that those already engaged have intensified their efforts and made the decision to improve ties with Madhya Pradesh as a possible future state.
He stated that Madhya Pradesh wants to contribute US $ 2 trillion to the national economy by 2047, highlighting the state’s potential and role in realising India’s aspirations.
According to Ashish Gujrati, a businessman from Surat and a former president of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce, he had a fruitful conversation on textiles and the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The topic of conversation was how to invest in textiles in Madhya Pradesh, with a focus on the Surat textile ecosystem, its advantages, and how to replicate it in Madhya Pradesh. The development of Madhya Pradesh’s textile ecosystem was another topic of debate. Madhya Pradesh’s policies are also quite alluring. Accordingly, Ashish Gujrati stated, there is a lot of room for investment from Surat to Madhya Pradesh.
The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s president, Nikhil Madrasi, stated that Surat’s businesspeople are prepared to introduce industry to Madhya Pradesh. According to him, the CM has been informed by industrialists that Surat offers a lot of potential. And whether it’s Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, or the entire nation, Surat’s industry wants to grow. Ease of Doing Business is required. He went on to say that Surat’s industrialists are prepared to take industry anyplace there is a chance for ease of doing business.
According to Ashok Girawala, President of the Federation of Gujarat Weavers Association, the industry is expanding throughout the nation, including in Bengaluru, Telangana, and Odisha. Since industries are expanding everywhere, it is believed that Madhya Pradesh and Bhopal would both develop into major textile hubs.
