Mafatlal Industries Limited (MIL) has appointed Priyavrata Mafatlal as Chief Executive Officer, effective on 1st June 2026, while continuing his current role as Managing Director.
With this appointment the textile manufacturer, which reported a total income of Rs 2,845.3 crore (US $299 million) in 2024–25, a 33% increase over the previous year, aims to focus on strategic alignment and execution, scaling value added businesses, and strengthening global presence.
This transition follows the retirement of M.B Raghunath as Chief Executive Officer upon attaining the age of 60, marking the end of an association of over three decades with Mafatlal Industries Limited.
Priyavrata Mafatlal has spent over 15 years with Mafatlal Industries, holding multiple leadership roles including Managing Director & CEO from July 2020 to March 2022, Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director from April 2019 to June 2020, and Executive Director from August 2014 to April 2019.
Prior to this, Priyavrata Mafatlal has also served as Director at Indivar Foundation and Vrata Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. He is also a Non-Executive Director at NOCIL Limited.
